IRC Up- and Downshift Blipper/Quickshifter For models without a factory quickshifter function, please select NO in the option above: “OEM quickshifter installed?” (The UPKIT will be added automatically). During downshifting, the IRC control unit generates a gear- and RPM-specific throttle blip. This eliminates the need to use the clutch when downshifting. The bidirectional IRC shift sensor also processes the signal for the original ECU’s quickshifter function – for both upshifts and downshifts. All relevant parameters are individually adjustable: Shift force for upshifts Shift force for downshifts Blip duration (time) Blip threshold (trigger force) Sensor direction: pull / push These settings can be optimally adapted to your application (e.g. street or racetrack) and to the geometry of your rearset setup. The installation kit includes a preassembled wiring harness and all required linkage hardware.
